What is ERP software?

ERP (enterprise resource planning) software runs core business processes — finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, HR and more — in one system with one database, so information is entered once and shared everywhere.

Which ERP is best for a small business in Oman?

For most small businesses Odoo or ERPNext is the right start. We recommend after a short discovery, based on your processes, budget and growth plans.

What is the difference between Odoo and ERPNext?

Odoo is a modular ERP with a large app ecosystem and a very polished interface; ERPNext is a complete open-source suite with no per-user licence fee. Both can be localised for Oman.

When should we build a custom ERP instead?

When your workflow is unique, when you need bespoke portals or deep integrations, or when packaged ERP forces costly compromises.

How much does an ERP cost in Oman?

It depends on scope. FizMoh's custom software and ERP projects start from OMR 3,000, and Odoo Community and ERPNext have no licence fee. We provide fixed-scope proposals.

How long does implementation take?

A focused first phase commonly takes 6 to 16 weeks. Larger, multi-branch or highly customised projects are phased.

Does the ERP handle Oman VAT?

Yes. We configure 5% VAT with the right tax codes, invoices and reports.

Can it generate WPS salary files?

Yes. Payroll can output the salary file in the format banks use for WPS transfers.

Can it report Omanization?

Yes. Reports show headcount by nationality and profession against targets.

Will it work in Arabic?

Yes. Interfaces, invoices and reports can be Arabic, English or bilingual.

Can you migrate data from our current system?

Yes. We migrate from spreadsheets, Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho and legacy databases with reconciliation.

Can the ERP connect to our other systems?

Yes. We build integrations to banks, payment gateways, WhatsApp, e-commerce stores, biometric devices and government portals where interfaces exist.

Where is the ERP hosted?

On AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, your own servers or on-premise. We design hosting around your data location and availability needs.

Is my data secure?

We use role-based access, audit trails, encrypted connections, backups and monitoring. Security practices are agreed and documented for each project.

What support do you provide after go-live?

24/7 monitoring, user support, fixes, upgrades, backups and enhancements.

Can we start with a few modules and add more later?

Yes. Phasing modules improves adoption and spreads cost.

Do you customise Odoo or ERPNext?

Yes. We configure standard features and build custom modules that extend the platform without breaking upgrades.

Can one ERP run several branches or companies?

Yes. Multi-branch and multi-company set-ups provide separate books with consolidated reporting.

Do you work with startups?

Yes. Starting lean with a few modules on Odoo Community or ERPNext is a common and cost-effective route.

What do we need to get started?

A project owner, a list of your processes and pain points, and sample documents. We handle the rest in a discovery workshop.

How do I get a quote?

Use the form on our contact page, call +968 7713 2049 or message us on WhatsApp. We reply within 24 hours with next steps.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. A short consultation helps us recommend a platform and scope before any commitment.

Where are you located?

FizMoh is in Al Wadi Kabir, Muscat, Sultanate of Oman, and serves clients across Oman and the GCC.

What are your working hours?

Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Systems are monitored around the clock.
