Overview

Overview: ERP for Restaurants, Cafés & Food Service

Food businesses run on thin margins and perishable stock. A busy outlet can look profitable while over-portioning, wastage and unrecorded staff meals quietly eat the margin.

A food-service ERP costs every dish from its recipe, deducts ingredients as items are sold and highlights variance between theoretical and actual usage, so owners see where money is really going.

Challenges

Common challenges we solve

The problems we hear most from restaurants, cafés & food service teams.

Problem 01

Food cost is unknown per dish

Menu prices are set without an up-to-date recipe cost, so best sellers may barely earn a margin.

Problem 02

Wastage and theft

Without theoretical versus actual usage, over-portioning and missing stock go unnoticed.

Problem 03

Several outlets, one kitchen

Central-kitchen production and transfers to branches are tracked on paper or chat.

Problem 04

Delivery orders are re-keyed

Orders from delivery apps and WhatsApp are typed into the till, causing errors.

Problem 05

Slow table service

Orders written by hand or shouted to the kitchen are lost, delayed or wrong.

Workflow

How the workflow runs

From first transaction to reporting, in one connected system.

Dishes, modifiers and recipes are loaded with ingredient costs so margins are visible from day one.

Set up the floor and kitchen

Tables, printers and kitchen screens are configured and staff trained.

  3. Step 03

    Track stock against sales

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from our Muscat team. Still unsure? Ask us directly.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can the POS work on tablets?

Yes. The POS runs in the browser on tablets, all-in-one terminals and phones, with receipt and kitchen printers connected on the local network.

Does it calculate food cost automatically?

Yes. Once recipes and ingredient prices are set, every sale deducts ingredients and shows theoretical food cost per dish and per period.

Can we run several branches from one central kitchen?

Yes. Central-kitchen production, internal orders and transfers to each branch are tracked with stock in every location.

Can it receive delivery-app orders?

Where a platform provides an integration or API, orders can flow into the POS; otherwise we set up a simple assisted-entry workflow.

Is there an Arabic menu and receipt?

Yes. Menus, receipts and customer-facing screens can display Arabic and English side by side.
