Overview

Overview: ERP for Oil & Gas Services & Contractors

Service companies working for operators face strict documentation, tight payment terms and reporting obligations. Contracts run in several currencies, crews rotate, equipment is on hire, and every invoice needs supporting records.

An ERP built for this world keeps contract, timesheet, equipment and cost data together, so invoices are backed by evidence, ICV numbers are ready when asked and margins are visible per contract.

Challenges

Common challenges we solve

The problems we hear most from oil & gas services & contractors teams.

Problem 01

Contract cost control

Costs are split across contracts, sites and rotations, so profit per contract is uncertain.

Problem 02

Equipment utilisation and maintenance

Rental fleets and tools are tracked in spreadsheets, missing service intervals and idle time.

Problem 03

HSE and compliance evidence

Certifications, incident logs and training records are scattered and hard to produce for audits.

Problem 04

ICV reporting effort

Local spend, local workforce and supplier data for in-country value reports are gathered manually each period.

Problem 05

Slow, evidence-heavy invoicing

Invoices need timesheets, delivery notes and approvals attached, delaying payment.

Oman

Oman-specific requirements

Local rules and realities built into the system, not bolted on.

  • Tagging of local spend, local suppliers and Omani workforce to support in-country value (ICV) reporting.

  • Payroll for crews with WPS files and Omanization reporting.

  • Multi-currency billing (often USD) with OMR reporting to three decimals and Oman VAT treatment for each service type.

  • Certificate and permit expiry tracking for personnel and equipment before site mobilisation.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers from our Muscat team. Still unsure? Ask us directly.

Ask on WhatsApp
Can the ERP help with ICV reporting?

Yes. Spend is tagged by supplier origin and workforce by nationality so ICV-related figures can be summarised without manual collation. Exact report formats depend on the operator's requirements, which we confirm at the start.

Does it support multi-currency contracts?

Yes. Contracts and invoices can be in USD or other currencies, with exchange differences and OMR reporting handled consistently.

Can we track equipment on hire and its maintenance?

Yes. Each asset has a service schedule, work order history and utilisation, and hire periods can be billed to the client.

How are HSE certificates tracked?

Certificates and permits are stored per person and asset with expiry alerts, so nobody is mobilised with an expired document.

Do you integrate with operator portals?

Where an operator portal offers an API or file format we can build the integration; otherwise we produce export files in the required layout.
